Women Leading Nonprofits: Conversation & Communication

This year, for International Women’s Day, I'm reflecting on two aspects of women's leadership that stand out for me: conversation and communication. What difference do they make in leading?

I look at the Melton Foundation as “Before TakeTwo” and “After TakeTwo”. Before TakeTwo helped us, the Foundation did not have a clear brand nor did we have strong marketing and development strategies. Taketwo fixed all of that, leaving us with a magnificent new website, a plan along with the capacity for how to market ourselves linked to a clear new brand, and funds development strategy tied to our vision. I can’t sing the praises of Bix and Stephanie enough. They are a perfect team: the whole is even greater than the sum of its great parts. Thank you TakeTwo!”
